nextnano++ software

Example templates

The nextnano setup file that you installed on your computer contains several nextnano++ example files.

• AlGaAs_GaAs_1D.in - AlGaAs/GaAs heterostructure
• DGMOSFET_2D.in - Double Gate MOSFET
• diode_1D.in - pn junction diode
• InGaAs_QW_1D.in - InGaAs quantum well
• pyramid_QD_3D.in - pyramidal shaped quantum dot including strain

They are not documented online yet.

You can download further nextnano++ input files from this Tutorials website such as "Laser diode InGaAs" and "Optical absorption".
If you don't have a password yet, you have to first sign up for a free evaluation license in order to download these input files.

We do not have any documentation of nextnano++ tutorials yet. We are working on it.
Meanwhile, we can provide a few nextnano++ input files that correspond to the nextnano³ tutorials which are documented online.
